I used a variety of My Minds Eye papers to layer for this card. I popped up the image so I could have the jewels collecting and peeking out from beneath the image and scattered a bit above as well. This image is so stunning and has so much going on, I didn't want to make the card too busy and take away from it.

When I colored her hair I did things a little differently and I think I am going to stick with it in the future. I will try to explain it - I started each strand with my three lightest colors working from darkest to lightest, then I went back with my darkest two and worked my way back down to my lightest color again. I found it easier to avoid adding to much of my darkest color this way and didn't lose my highlights. Sometimes when working with more than three shades it can be hard to keep those really light areas IMO.
I wanted to show you a close up of the image that I tilted in the light so the camera would pick up the glitter accents I added.
