Good morning crafty gals! I have stepped outside of my comfort zone just a bit today to use a die as the focal point of my card instead of a colored image. I use dies on just about every card I create but I can't remember the last time I used a die as my main element.
Yes I know Easter has passed BUT I did make this card before the holiday and really you could stamp any sentiment there but I was in the Easter spirit.
This bunny is a Quickutz die and he comes together so easily. I wanted a white bunny but wanted him to still pop out from the white sign so I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen around the edges of him and Tea Stain around the sign and all other edges on the card.
To create the scalloped edge I used a 3/4" circle punch and adhered each circle to the back of the stitched circle, overlapping just slightly. My papers are American Crafts, Dear Lizzy "Daydreamer".
