Farm Fresh Challenge, Animals Rule

Hiya crafters!! Holy cow, I can't believe it's already March! Today begins an all new Farm Fresh Challenge on The Greeting Farm blog.  This month's theme is Animals Rule.

For today's card I've combined two of our clear stamp sets from the January release.  The pony is from the Magical Friends set and the chick and bunny are from the Eggstra Special stamp set.  I used the coordinating dies for each.  They're painted with Distress inks.
pony: Vintage Photo, Antique Linen, Worn Lipstick, Black Soot
bunny: Black Soot, Pumice Stone, Worn Lipstick
chick: Vintage Photo, Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin

The background is also done with distress inks.  I applied the ink with the round blender tool onto watercolor paper and then flicked it with water to lift some of the ink.  I used Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass for the sky and Mowed Lawn for the ground.

I hope you come join in with this months challenge!
Here are a few simple guidelines to play along with us:

I Love You To The Moon, LDRS Creative

Hi crafters! I have something a little different to share with you today.  I love this sentiment from the new set called You and felt it deserved the spotlight.

I used Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink for the background.  The stars are done with a stencil and embossing paste.  I used the new Basic Background Builders to add some interest as well.  It's a little hard to see in the photos but the pierced dots and embossed lines were the perfect touch.

I added a thin line of yellow Stickles to the moon and then a little frantage.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed your visit and feel inspired to get creative.

One of My Favorite Peeps, C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps

Hiya crafters!! I've made another card using the Easter Funnies stamp set released this month at C.C. Designs.  I've used the cute little chicks for this one.  To see my card using the bunny from this set you can click HERE.

I stamped them in Memento Desert Sands ink and colored them with Copics.  If I were to do it again, I don't think I would cut out the no-line image.  It had more pop before but they were still too stinkin cute not to use.  Here are the combos I used:
chicks: E22 YR23 Y21 YR09 YR68 YR65 YR61
Purple: V17 V15 V12 V01 V000
Pink: RV19 RV29 RV25 RV23 RV21
blue: BG09 BG57 BG53 BG01 BG000
