April Farm Fresh Challenge, Miss Anya Collection

Hey there crafters!! It's time for a new Farm Fresh Challenge over on The Greeting Farm blog.  Our theme for April is Bloom Where You Are Planted.
I went with this sweet Anya stamp from the Miss Anya Collection rubber stamp set.

I've had this set for a long time but it's a classic.  It comes with three different character stamps and they are all so versatile, it's a set that I've reached for several times.

Happy Birthday Mom, The Greeting Farm

Ok, I think I am hooked on shakers. But nothing says Happy Birthday like a shaker card!
Today's card uses the I Love Mom clear stamp set released at The Greeting Farm this month.

I colored the stamps with my Copics and cut them out using the coordinating dies.   I used a mixture of sequins and confetti dots to fill my shaker components.

I have so many ideas bouncing around in my head for the I Love Mom clear stamps!  I've used it twice so far and still haven't used all the stamps in the set.  They will pair well with tons of TGF character stamps too.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today! I hope you enjoyed your visit.

Emmy Lou, LDRS Creative

Hello everyone!  I have a simple birthday card to share with you today featuring one of the new CandiBean girls, Emmy Lou, from LDRS Creative.

Doesn't she look like she's dressed up for a party? I used a die from the Cutting Edge Borders I set for the balloon paper to have the star paper peeking between the layers.  This die will leave the stitching on both sides of your cut so you can just die cut it once and then determine how far apart you want those two pieces to be.  I decided to cut it once more on the bottom so I had some of the stars in the lower corner as well.

The sentiment is from the Just Because set.  It's a very versatile stamp but I thought it was perfect for a simple birthday greeting.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you enjoyed your visit.

Hello everyone! Happy Monday.  I'd like to share the card I made for the C.C. Designs newsletter using the new Swiss Pixie Big Bow Birgitta.

I decided to try a faux shaker.  In my opinion they aren't much less trouble than a normal shaker card but I had to try it at least once.  I colored Birgitta with Copic markers.  Here are the combos I used:

purple: V17 V15 V12 V000

Butterfly Twila, C.C. Designs

Hey crafty peeps!! I'd like to share this bright and happy card I made using the new Roberto's Rascals Butterfly Twila.

There were so many color options for this stamp and I changed my mind several times before settling on this one.  And, of course, I didn't have any patterned papers that matched well so I made my own with Distress Inks and this fun new Honeycomb stencil.  I used Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, and Spiced Marmalade.   I colored Twila with my Copic markers.  Here are the combos I used:
skin: E04 E11 E21 E00 E000 R20 R11
hair: E29 E25 E23 E21
