TGF + Cardmaker Blog Hop

The Greeting Farm and Cardmaker Magazine have teamed up for a fun blog hop! The Greeting Farm is giving away a $50 GC to the shop.  Head over to the TGF blog for details on how to enter.
For my card today I have used several TGF stamp sets to create a scene for this almost one layer card.

I used Distress Inks for my watercoloring.  Here are the colors I used:
red:  Fired Brick, Festive Berries, Spun Sugar
white: Black Soot, Hickory Smoke
purple: Seedless Preserves
yellow: Vintage Photo, Fossilized Amber
grass: Forest Moss, Peeled Paint, Crushed Olive
sky: Pumice Stone, Weathered Wood, Tumbled Glass

My inspiration for today's card came from a creation I saw on the WPlus9 blog made by Joni Andaya.  You can see her stunning card here.

Now head over to The Greeting Farm blog for a hop list and your chance to win a gift certificate to the shop!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you find some time to get creative.

New Ponies, The Greeting Farm

Hi crafters! I hope you're having a great weekend.
It's a special release day for The Greeting Farm! I know you all loved the Magical Friends clear set that was released in January and you're going to be excited about today's release too.  There are three new pony sets and coordinating dies!
The new clear stamp sets are Hello Unicorn, Your Wings, and Magical Day.

Hello Unicorn comes with this sentiment and the balloon too.  I created the background with Distress Inks and all of the coloring for today's cards is done with Prismacolor pencils.

Your Wings comes with these adorable little birds, the sentiment,  and a cloud stamp too.  For this card I used the coordinating cloud die without the stamp.

Magical Day comes with this sentiment and the white hearts in the clouds is one of three designs in the set.  I used the cloud stamp from the Your Wings stamp set and the balloon from Hello Unicorn.  I cut a cloud using the Your Wings coordinating dies to use as a mask for sponging the background.

Stop by the TGF blog for more inspiration with the new pony sets from the design team!

We'd love to see what you've been creating with your TGF stamps! Come share your projects with us on The Greeting Farm Fan Page.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today! I hope you've enjoyed your visit.

Surprise!, C.C. Designs Rubber Stamps

Hello! I have a card to share with you all using another stamp from C.C. Designs April release.  I have looooved working with this months new goodies! Cute cute cute!
Today's card features the adorable Roberto's Rascals Surprise! stamp set.

This sentiment comes with the set and I just cut two circle die cuts in half to follow the shape of the stamp.  I used my Prismacolor pencils to color on kraft colored paper.  Here are the combos I used:
skin: dark brown, terra cotta, burnt ochre, sienna brown, clay rose, peach, light peach, eggshell, white, blush pink
hair: chocolate, sienna brown, goldenrod, beige, sand, white
blue: indigo blue, periwinkle, powder blue, cloud blue, white
red: dark green, black raspberry, crimson lake, scarlet lake, carmine red
yellow: light umber, goldenrod, spanish orange, canary yellow, lemon yellow
white: cool grey 70%, 30%, 10%, white
sparkler: poppy red, pale vermillion, sunburst yellow, canary yellow, white

I love the banners from the new Build a Banner #15 dies because they have a wider shape than any of the other banner die sets that I have, so they mix and layer nicely together.  On this card I used one of my more narrow banner dies with the new set to add variety.
Those cute little stitched stars are from the Make a Card #14 dies. The little yellow dots around my sentiment are a stamp from the Smoochie Sentiments set.

I'm so glad you stopped by my blog today! I hope you enjoyed your visit and feel inspired to get crafty!

Other Supplies: Simple Stories Say Cheese 6x6 paper pad and Say Cheese II 6x6 paper pad; Bazzill Licorice Twist card stock;  MFT Black Licorice Hybrid Ink pad; Distress Inks in Fossilized Amber, Aged Mahogany, Walnut Stain; SSS Assorted Moonshine sequins; 3M foam tape, ScorTape, Canson Mi Teintes Assorted Color pad

I also stamped the flower from the I Love Mom set in Spun Sugar Distress Ink and used the flower die from the I Love Mom Coordinating Dies. I love that some of the dies in the set can be used alone in addition to cutting around the stamped images.
